This 2 pack of cable-style air tank drain valves are a practical upgrade for anyone looking to replace a traditional twist-style petcock drain. Designed with convenience in mind, these valves feature a 1/4" male NPT thread and installs directly into the bottom of your air tank. The 60-inch pull cable allows you to easily release built-up moisture from the tank without having to crawl underneath or reach into tight spaces.

The valves are made from solid brass, providing excellent durability and resistance to corrosion in demanding shop or industrial environments. The cables are constructed from sturdy steel and covered with a protective poly coating to prevent wear and ensure long-lasting performance. Rated for up to 250 PSI, the valves are compatible with a wide range of portable and stationary air compressor tanks.

For installation: These valves screw into the bottom of the air tank and the cable runs up and secures to the base plate of the compressor or somewhere near the top of the tank. There should be some slack still left in the cable as you don't want it tight, if it is too tight it will keep the valve open. Then when you pull on the cable it will pull this valve stem to the side and drain air and moisture until released. Note this drain does not function by pulling straight out it is designed so the stem gets pulled to the side to open the valve.
